Pfhor
Trinary alien empire. Brutal slavers and the Marathon trilogy's primary antagonists.
Description
The Pfhor are a powerful, trinary-brained alien empire organized around military hierarchy and the exploitation of lesser species. They maintain vast slave armies — most notably the S'pht — and project force across the galaxy with fleets of powerful warships. Their invasion of the UESC Marathon in 2794 was a routine slaving operation: they had monitored the Tau Ceti system for years and struck when the colony appeared vulnerable. The Pfhor fleet at Lh'owon is destroyed when the S'pht'Kr activate the sun-nova weapon hidden on the planet.
